Read Receipts is an interactive, psychologically dramatic story about love bombing and gaslighting. The player meets someone charming and intense. Through text messages and memories, they navigate a new relationship that feels real. But slowly things start getting strange; the conversation starts getting intense, and you start getting a feeling that you are being watched. The element of doubt and suspense plays a big role. Every text received is a prompt systematically created to progress the narrative into one of three endings. It dives into the ways we justify our obsessions. The choices will lead the player to an ultimate realization.
